The Real Reason we traveled to the Southwest!

As I sit here in Minneapolis and Bob in Texas somewhere,  I am thankful that we have not quite earned our stripes as "snowbirds".

On the other hand, maybe the reality of my sitting in Minneapolis in subzero temperatures and snowbanks 4+ feet high is not so great either.

Please bring on retirement soon!!!!

Sure does beat Holiday INN

This is how it all began!   Bob and I met on the internet, and the glue that holds us together today is still our love of RV'ing.   After many hours of pouring over pictures and files of motorhomes for sale, we found this for sale on Craigslist near New Orleans LA.   We had already found that we liked the Safari motorhomes and narrowed down our search.    It took us about a year to reach the point where the dream finally  became a reality.

Saturday November 27, 2010  I flew into Kalamazoo after work.   The plane arrived about 9:30pm and Bob had loaded up the coach and was just waiting for me at McDonald's to give him a call at which point he would drive in and pick me up.   All went as planned and by 9:45 we were on our way

I am sure anybody that knows us would not be surprised that we stayed the night  at the first Rest Area we could find and this was our first sunrise we woke up to.  Life is Grand!

While Bob is on the road, most credit goes to his photography and his blackberry!
