Safe and sound

To all of our family members and friends that sent us messages regarding the tornado's in Dallas...Thank you, we are fine and safely tucked away at Hot Springs National Park, AR.  We hopef our friends in Dallas didn't suffer any loss other than a few fingernails they had  bitten off.

We spent last night near Texarkana, TX.   A  storm knocked out the park power for nearly 12 hours.   I am certainly glad that we have a heavy duty generator on board...we made good use of it.

All is well and we will post something to the blog soon.   Have a good night.

  1. Thanks for the update. Sure happy to hear that everything is well with you folks. Nice photos, thanks for sharing.

  2. ahh, good. After driving to San Antonio and arriving yesterday just after the Dallas tornadoes, I hadn't heard a thing about them. Checking into blogs and weather was a surprise. Now checking in with friends and so far, glad to see everyone is ok. Love the Texas bluebells I have been seeing and your photos are great.

  3. So glad you checked in. All I could think of was all the rv friends in Dallas and around. Wondering how the campground we found in Grapevine weathered the storm. What a scary situation to be in.

OOOPS! you almost missed the spot to tell us what is on your mind. Go ahead, leave a comment.....
