Another bump in the road

Today has been a very long day for us and I will leave a very short note for everyone.

Early this morning Bob had another seizure, this time it was much stronger than the one he experienced in Minneapolis this past summer.    I called 911 and an ambulance came to take him to the nearest emergency room.   I am pleased to say that he is resting comfortably now but was admitted to the hospital here in Tennessee and will be under the care of a neurologist.    He has had more darn CT Scans and MRI's in this past year always checking to see if there has been any further extension of the  original stroke area.   So far, so good and for that we are grateful.

I am not sure why life has to throw these challenges at us but I have come to know that we are not in control...and there is a reason for everything.

I found this little verse and thought it was appropriate to pass along.   Please give your husband, wife, child, sister, brother, mother, father, or friend a hug and tell them how much they mean to you...tomorrow is never a guarantee.

I will keep the blog updated as information comes to me.  Have a good night everyone.

  1. When life is good it is good. When it gets rough all anyone can do is hold and hope the ride smoothes out.

Keeping those that are on those rough roads in our prayers helps smooth the ride.

    It's about time.

  2. Hitting those rough spots makes us appreciate the smoother portions of our journey just a little more, sometimes. Thanks for sharing.
