Time slipped by yesterday and I had no concrete news to pass on. I sat with Bob the entire day waiting for a neurologist to make her rounds in order to get more information with regard to post-stroke seizures. Wouldn't you know, I left the room for a short while and naturally I missed her visit....
We were very shocked to find that there is a good possibility that Bob had a heart attack as well. Needless to say, he was not discharged and many further tests are now being run. I have been so very fortunate to have family and friends nearby whenever there has been a bump in the road...not to mention my blog family that is so very important to me in this journey.
I seem to be reeling in circles with all of this unexpected news. Today we were planning on heading out in seek of warmer temperatures but I shall remain here and very thankful that if all of this must happen at all, that we are near Vanderbilt University and some wonderful medical care. God does watch over us ignorant folks after all.
As news comes forth, I will keep the updates coming.
